Adaptech This Week

Lazy, hazy days of Vancouver Summer are upon us, but at Adaptech events just keep on going. Here’s an overview of what’s up this week:

  • We are featured in this week’s episode of Vancouver’s #1 source of what’s happening around town – theVancouver Tech Podcast. Drew and James interviewed Adaptech founder and CTO Adam Dymitruk on event sourcing, event storming, command-query-response separation, what it means and why it matters rather a lot if you are in the business of building great software products fast. Check it out for the interview and for Drew and James’s usual great overview of tech meetups around town.
  • “Microservices – Beyond The Hype” – see us on Wednesday at the .NET User Group Of BC meetup. Robert Reppel, Adaptech’s Director of Engineering, will present on microservices why, what and how, with examples, pitfalls and opportunities along the way.
  • As usual, there’s Thursday’s “DDD/CQRS/ES Practitioners” meetup. We’ll do a Microservices Q&A this week. Please join us at Decentral, our favorite creative / mob programming space in the heart of the city, at W. Pender & Richards.
